Lyrics to a Few of My Favorite Songs

Come to the Water’s Edge

Here are the lyrics to one of my all time favorite songs! I have always felt so close to the Lord when I’m in nature. I could sit at the water’s edge for hours just listening to the ocean waves roll and feeling the sand between my toes.

This song speaks to me because the Lord has called me to share my story. He’s given me quite the story to share too, with chapters about various subjects.

2 Corinthians 1:3-7 says,
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

I know that all the trials and situations that I have been through are to be used for the Lord’s work. He has helped me endure things so that I may go on to encourage and comfort others.

I am honored to share my story with you! Let me tell you what He has done for me, for you, for us!

“Come and Listen” by David Crowder Band

Come and listen, come to the water’s edge, all you who know and fear the Lord.

Come and listen, come to the water’s edge all you who are thirsty, come.

Let me tell you what He has done for me.
Let me tell you what He has done for me,
He has done for you,
He has done for us.

Come and listen,
come and listen to what He’s done.
Come and listen,
come and listen to what He’s done.

Praise our God for He is good.
Praise our God for He is good.
Praise our God for He is good.
Praise our God for He is good.

He has done for me,
He has done for you,
He has done for us.

Come and listen,
come and listen to what He’s done.
Come and listen,
come and listen to what He’s done.
